Fish-O-Rama Kids Clinic

The CRANDIC Walleye Club led by NPAA members Dave Nichols #153; Cliff Klien #800, Tracfy Hayward #851, and Steve Miller #581 hosted the Kids Clinic at the 19th Annual Boys & Girls Clubs of the Corridor FISH-O-RAMA event on Robins Lake in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Young angler casts from boat

40 youth and 24 adults attended and were given presentations on Conservation, Water Quality, and Invasive Species.  Steve Miller provided a short presentation on casting tips and then the attendees broke into groups to work with club members to improve their rod handling skills.  The clinic ended with FAF tshirts and rod/reel combos for the attendees.

Fish-O-Rama is a tagged fish fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cedar Rapids, Marion and Iowa City, Iowa that annually draws over 1,000 anglers to Robins Lake on the Cedar River. Fish-O-Rama returned to a live event this year after taking a COVID break in 2020
